We don’t come from a multi-generation wine making family. We didn’t grow up in wine country or study abroad in Europe. We don’t have a traditional wine club or free tastings or pick up parties. We did (and still do) drink a lot of wine from up and down the west coast. We're just passionate about wine.
Our initial release of five Rhone-style wines has expanded into a portfolio that includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, and Petite Sirah. We are always looking for a new vineyard or varietal to add that will enhance the winery experience.
We source our fruit from a number of areas best suited to viticulture, ranging from Santa Barbara County to the west side of Paso Robles. We bring the grapes to our winery in Ventura, where our barrel storage and tasting room are located. We hope you'll come by to visit, taste, share, and learn.
Mike and Chris at Cantara Cellars come to mind, as well as Louis Lucas and Mary Beth Vogelzang for taking a chance selling grapes to an unknown startup. The people of Ventura and the surrounding area have been very supportive as well. We love you, Mid Town!
